The hidden kingdom of fungi - walk & talk

Step into the mysterious kingdom beneath our feet. Join us for a friendly, jargon-free introduction to the fascinating world of fungi. We’ll start at the rugby club with a brief presentation on how fungi shape our ecosystems, then head outside for a guided walk to practice spotting and identifying local species in the wild. Perfect for beginners and nature lovers alike.

When: Sun 17 October, 10am - 1pm

Where: Meet at Moresby Rugby Union Club car park

Who: Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied)

Cost: this event is free

Access: Suitable for most fitness levels. The walk is mostly on surfaced paths, with brief excursions into woodland on uneven ground.

Notes: Please ensure you wear clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for the weather and for an outdoor setting.
