By bike or on foot

The area is accessible via various walking and cycling routes. One particularly scenic option is West Cumbria Rivers Trust's Watery Walk, which follows the beautifully restored River Keekle from Whitehaven to Moresby Parks. Whilst the trail instructions loop from Walkmill, it's possible to work out a route on foot from Whitehaven.
