Terms and conditions for our events
Safety statement
All events have been risk assessed, and the risk assessment will be available from WCRT at the event if you wish to see it. A safety briefing will be given at the start of the event. All events will be led by a WCRT staff member and, in some cases, an external. WCRT hold public liability insurance.
Your statement of participation - You, as the participant, understand that the activity can involve an element of risk of injury. You agree to take responsibility for your own actions and will observe the safety instructions and guidance given by the WCRT staff. All bookings are made on the basis that participants will observe the safety instructions given by the WCRT staff member.
Participants must agree to share any relevant information that will help the staff member look after everyone’s safety and to follow safety advice during the activity.
GDPR
Please see Eventbrite’s GDPR statement. WCRT will keep your details for 1 week after the event to send feedback forms; all information provided will remain confidential.
Photography
we will take photos during the event. Please let us know if you don’t consent to photos being taken.
Children
West Cumbria Rivers Trust do not accept responsibility for unaccompanied children. Children under 18 must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
