Walkmill Summer Family Fun Day

Image showing a WCRT working in a workshop with a child in an outdoor setting

What: Join us for an afternoon of family-friendly fun in the woods, with plenty of opportunities to discover wildlife, get creative and explore.

Have a go at bug hunting, see if you can identify animal tracks and try pond dipping from the brand-new dipping platform. You can also get creative with pebble painting and tactile trail rubbings.

Back by popular demand, the woodland puppet show will return too, with a brand-new star of the show, a dancing polecat! Spaces are limited with showings at 1.15, 2 & 2.45pm.

When: Thu 13 Aug, 1 - 3pm

Where: Access the woodland either from the small car park on the Moresby to Frizington road, or from Moresby Rugby Union Club car park. Follow signs to the gazebo in the centre of the site to find out all the info you need.

Who: This event is aimed at children up to the age of 12 but all ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by an adult.

Notes: Please ensure you wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather and for an outdoor setting.

By attending this event, you agree to our Event terms and conditions
